Be Active

The Babergh Be Active Service enables and provides 'at risk' youngsters the opportunity to access Sport, Outdoor Pursuits, Arts, Music and much more within the Babergh District and throughout Suffolk.

The Service also supports and funds young coaches and volunteers to become part of local youth projects or coach sport locally.

 Be Active works in partnership with The Police, Youth Offending Team, Youth and Connexions Service and many other local providers - the Be Active service is exclusively available to young people who are at risk of offending, vulnerable or socially isolated.

The Be Active Service aims to be fully inclusive and offers both signposting and provision in sport and leisure for disabled people of all ages, as well as guidance and advice for disability service providers and users.
